Wednesday heat and storm chances

A cold front will be in the area Wednesday and will bring another day of potential triple digit heat index values and a chance for storms. As of Tuesday, the Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk area for severe activity for most of the KETV viewing area.

Better chances for storms during the day will likely be on the Iowa side of the river. A second round of storms could develop overnight in eastern Nebraska and bring the threat for large hail. Storm chances will stick around into early Thursday.
