The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office confirms a man is dead after a rollover crash.The crash occurred on Highway 12, about one mile west of Obert, NE. Police identified the man as 26-year-old Austin Burcham of Newcastle, NE.Reports say Burcham ran off the roadway, overcorrected, and then rolled down an embankment. During this, he was ejected from the vehicle. Burcham was transported by Wynot EMS to Sanford Medical in Vermillion, SD, where he was pronounced dead.The crash remains under investigation by the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office.
