Local Benson women’s sports bar Set the Bar is celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day all week long. Ten percent of the proceeds are being donated to local women’s sports teams and organizations through Thursday, Feb. 5.Set the Bar is the eighth-recognized women’s sports bar in the country and the first in Nebraska. The goal is to create a welcoming space for everyone and to spotlight the powerful leaders in women’s athletics.The community is invited to support the Omaha-metro local talent.
