February is American Heart Month, and OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma is sharing the story of Fable, a child who is now home after being hospitalized for 726 days.Fable was diagnosed with a rare heart defect before birth. She had multiple high-risk surgeries in her first months of life, and in August, she received a heart transplant.Now home, she was able to experience new adventures, including a trip to the zoo, thanks to a custom mobility car built by students at Dove Virtual Academy.
