Chuck Norris looked back at his first experience in Hollywood in exclusive 1990 interview
Norris recalled winning a world title and accidentally striking Dean Martin during a staged fight.
In a 1990 interview, Chuck Norris recalled how he landed a role as a bodyguard in the 1968 film “The Wrecking Crew.”He said he had just won the world title in New York when the producer of the movies asked him to appear and added, “That’s how I got my SAG card, as a matter of fact.”Norris described a fight scene that required a kick over Dean Martin’s head and said, “I hit him in the shoulder, and he went flying across the room.”WATCH the full interview in the video above.Chuck Norris died Thursday at the age of 86.
