SHE GETS THE PIN IN HER OPENING ROUND MATCH. SHE WINS AGAIN IN THE QUARTER. SHE’S MOVING ON TO THE SEMIS. BACK TO CLASS A DEFENDING CHAMP AT 130 POUNDS. OMAHA WEST KALYN LYONS NEEDS JUST OVER A MINUTE TO PIN HER FIRST OPPONENT. SHE WINS THE MATCH TWO. SHE’S GOING TO THE SEMIS. STAY IN CLASS A BENNINGTON MIA ANDERSON, ALSO THE DEFENDING CHAMP AT 110, SHE EARNS THE PIN TO IMPROVE TO 37 ONE. SHE MOVES TO 38 ONE. LATER, SHE’S INTO THE SEMIS. WE DON’T HAVE ANYONE GOING FOR FOUR STRAIGHT STATE TITLES, BUT WE HAVE A FEW GOING FOR THREE, INCLUDING KALYN SKUTT CATHOLIC AT 120 POUNDS. SHE GETS WIN NUMBER 57 ON THE SEASON. THAT’S A NEW STATE RECORD IN A SINGLE SEASON, BUT SHE WANTS TO WIN THREE STRAIGHT GOLD MEDALS TO HAVE ONE MORE SEASON TO WRESTLE, TO GET THAT ELUSIVE FOURTH.
