Two men are hurt after a shooting in Council Bluffs. It happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday at a residence near the 3300 block of Sixth Avenue. The Council Bluffs Police Department says when officers arrived at the scene, they found two men inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were given medical treatment and were transported to the hospital. Council Bluffs police say witnesses indicated the suspect had fled the area before officers arrived. Officials found the suspect, Edder Morales-Solorio, with a disassembled handgun and took him into custody. Police say the victims’ injuries are non-life-threatening. Officials are not releasing their names at this time. Morales-Solorio has been charged with two counts of attempt to commit murder, going armed with intent; two counts of intimidation with a dangerous weapon; two counts of reckless use of a firearm; and two counts of willful injury resulting in serious injury.The investigation remains ongoing.
