The step-sister of Roberto Tanner shared her emotional memories and reflections on the tragic deaths of him and his wife, Hannah Neville. Tasmyn Ward remembered Tanner for his caring nature and emphasized the family’s ongoing grief. We had quite a rough growing up, but he really pushed through. He was really creative. He loved drawing and, he did tattoos,” she said.Despite Tanner’s past, Ward wants him to be remembered for his positive attributes. “When this all started, he was painted to almost be a monster. This horrible person, he has gang tattoos. He, you know, did time in jail. But at the end of the day, that’s not who he was. It’s like it was part of him. But that’s not all of him. I feel like it made him know that he was loved and that we were still here for him, despite the distance,” she said.Ward recounted the events leading up to the tragedy, explaining that Tanner had a dispute with his wife on Jan. 13, and two days later, Neville went to pick him up in Lincoln. That was the night they were killed. “I know they’re the media has painted him to be an abusive partner, but when it came down to it, they got into this dispute and he chose to go somewhere.
