The Huskers got off to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the third Lauren Camenzind and Jordy Frahm crossed the plate on a Jesse Farrell triple.Then Ava Kuszak came through with a two-run homer to bring in herself and Farrell.A solo homer from the Gamecocks made it 4-1 in the top of the fourth. The fifth inning was all Huskers as they scored five runs. Kuszak scored on an RBI single from Carlie Muhlbach before Samantha Bland scored on a single from Kacie Hoffmann.A two-run homer from Hannah Coor made it an 8-1 game. Hannah Camenzind then came home to give Nebraska the 9-1 victory after an RBI single from Farrell.Next up was Hawaii.Hannah Camenzind threw NU’s 42nd no-hitter in program history.She threw all 5.0 innings for the Big Red, allowing no hits on no runs. Nebraska went up 4-0 in the second inning after a Lauren Camenzind double scored Bella Bacon, Coor, and Talia Tokheim before Lauren eventually came home on a double from her sister.The score doubled for NU in the bottom of the third after Lauren Camenzind and Tokheim scored on a Hannah Camenzind double. Hannah and Farrell made it home on a Kuszak triple.In the bottom of the fourth, Malia Thoms hit a three-run homer to make give Nebraska the 13-0 win.
