Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley confirmed to KETV that Lincoln police are investigating a no-bid contract the governor granted. Foley believes the no-bid contract for emergency economic development, which was worth $2.5 million, is against Nebraska law. Gov. Jim Pillen’s office said his office did follow the law, especially when the Nebraska Legislature sets quick deadlines.
