Omaha police are investigating a stabbing in Northwest Omaha early Monday morning. One man is in critical condition, and multiple others had minor injuries. Police confirm they are investigating two scenes connected to the stabbing. The first call went out just before 12:30 a.m. to a home near 75th and Redick Avenue. Then, a second call for a stabbing was made minutes later, to a residence less than a mile away at 79th and Newport Avenue. Police responded to both scenes and found multiple people with minor injuries at the residence near 75th and Redick Avenue. No one went to the hospital. A KETV photojournalist on the scene reported at least three individuals were put inside a police cruiser. We have not learned if anyone is under arrest. At 79th and Newport Avenue, police found a 20-year-old man critically injured after he crashed an SUV into the front yard of a home. OPD says he had been stabbed. Officers say his injuries were critical but he’s currently stable in the hospital. Both incidents are currently under investigation.
