I’ll tell you who’s not getting *** gold medal today, and that is Mother Nature. We had *** weather system come in last night in Milan with some heavy rain. It’s settling in and sticking around for days. Those last few days before an opening ceremony are very busy for host cities. It’s *** little bit like throwing *** wedding. You can plan it for years, but no matter how much planning you do, you still have *** lot of things you need to do in the last few days before your big event. So that’s why we saw construction crews rushing to finish things up like the Olympic cauldron earlier this week when it was dry. But with In the forecast for the next few days, it kind of is what it is for all the other things on the Olympic to do list. Milan sits at about 400 ft above sea level, but Cortina is at the 4000 ft level. And so this same weather system that’s rain in Milan is snow in the mountains at the Milan Cortina Olympics. I’m Deirdre Fitzpatrick.
