Omaha Performing Arts invites you to be its guest after revealing 2026-27 Broadway season
The “music of the night” was heard in Omaha Monday as Omaha Performing Arts announced its 2026-27 Broadway season. The upcoming season features seven shows: Death Becomes Her, Maybe Happy Ending, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera, The Great Gatsby, The Sound of Music and Hell’s Kitchen. Also returning are Beetlejuice and The Book of Mormon. Some of the productions’ cast members joined Omaha Performing Arts at the Holland Performing Arts Center Monday to celebrate the reveal. Bronson Norris Murphy, of the Phantom of the Opera, performed “Music of the Night.””We worked many years in advance to bring the best shows to Omaha,” said Omaha Performing Arts president Joan Squires. “I’m thrilled because we’ve got several direct that are first year on tour and some beloved favorites that are coming back.”New season subscriptions and payment plans are on sale now.
