The Pentagon release the names of four of the soldiers who were killed in Kuwait. One of the soldiers was Sgt. First Class Noah Tietjens of Bellevue, Nebraska.An Iowa soldier, Sgt. Declan Coady, was also among the six who were killed. Following the announcement from the Pentagon, Nebraska and Iowa leaders shared their condolences and prayers.Sen. Deb Fischer said Tietjens will be honored “forever.”“It is with profound sadness that I learned one of Nebraska’s own was killed in Kuwait during Operation Epic Fury.
