A Nebraska man accused of assaulting an officer has taken a plea deal.Court documents show Anthony Wynn pleaded no contest to third-degree assault on an officer or health care worker, assault causing bodily injury and criminal mischief. In exchange, the prosecutor dismissed one count of terroristic threats and one count of obstructing a peace officer. Deputies tried to arrest Wynn last year after a victim reported an assault near 142nd and Emily streets. According to an affidavit, Wynn bit a deputy’s hand and spit on officers several times during arrest.No sentencing date has been set yet.
