An employee was sent to the hospital after a de-icing truck crashes into a United Airlines plane at Denver International Airport.Two girls from Fremont were on board when it happened on Friday morning.”After I felt the jolt, I said, ‘Rachel, what was that?’ and she goes, ‘We just hit a car!'” Lauren Wolfe said.They sent this video to KETV after they got off the plane. All passengers were then sent to a different aircraft.United Airlines said in a statement that no one else was hurt.It was snowing at the time of the crash, but officials are investigating if that was a factor.Wolfe was flying to Nashville with her twin sister Rachel to celebrate their birthday when the collision happened.”It was just a lot of anxiety, just not knowing what was going to happen,” Wolfe said.She described it as a jolt that left the plane shaking.” like the plane dropped down and just like hit the ground, but it was all on the outside,” Wolfe said. “It was just so quick. It was just, ‘Alrighty, done de-icing,’ then boom.”She said she saw damage to the wings and to the truck.”It did four rolls. There were two operators and the girl at the top was probably 25-30 feet and it tumbled her over,” Wolfe said.Wolfe said the crew kept everyone calm, but she still has questions.”You’re not in a car, you don’t have side mirrors to see what’s going on, so I’m just like, ‘Who told this pilot that it was good to go?'” Wolfe said.Flight 605 was support to take off at 9:30 a.m., but she didn’t leave until 3 p.m. The Wolfe sisters finally arrived at 6:30 p.m., seven hours after they were supposed to.”A lot of people on that plane were, you know, like going to Nashville to have a celebration of some sort, and so there was a lot of frustration,” Wolfe said.
