Nebraska men’s basketball is preparing for the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Oklahoma City.The Huskers are set to face the Troy Trojans at 11:40 a.m.Omaha’s Sports Leader is in Oklahoma City, bringing you the latest from the team as they continue their historic season.All of the teams set to play in Oklahoma City got about 40 minutes to check out the arena on Wednesday.Lauren Michelson spoke with the Huskers one-on-one, and she said they are focused and loose. Nebraska guard Cale Jacobsen is confident and ready to go. “A lot of excitement. We’ve got to be here for a couple of days now and practice and just settle in a little bit. I think we’re getting ready to go, and we’re excited for tomorrow morning,” Jacobsen said. “I think we’ve talked about it, and we know what’s at stake. And everybody in this tournament feels pressure, so our group’s been through a lot of things together. I think that our togetherness is what can carry us as far as it wants to.”Braden Frager is a key player for the Huskers. When Frager is on, Nebraska tends to be on, and when Frager is off, the team is often kind of stalled.The Lincoln native grew up with his eyes glued to the TV in March, watching the action unfold, and now he is ready to take the floor.”It’s everything I’ve ever dreamt of. I mean, just growing up just watching these games, I’ve always just wanted to play. I mean, I love watching it every single year. In my opinion, the best sporting event of all time.
