The U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team will be in Washington, D.C. for President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.However, KETV confirmed that Omaha native Jake Guentzel is not attending.Guentzel helped lead Team USA to its first gold medal in 46 years on the last day of the Milan Cortina Olympic Games.The Tampa Bay Lightning told KETV that he’s staying in Florida as the team chases another Stanley Cup title.Guentzel is no stranger to the big stage.
