Omaha police are investigating a suspicious death as a homicide and officers have taken one person into custody.Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 36th and Cass street for a missing person call. Omaha police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found a deceased man.Officials said officers determined a blue Mazda SUV was a vehicle of interest in the case.Omaha police pursue vehicle tied to homicide investigationAround 8:30 a.m. Thursday, the vehicle was spotted in the area of Interstate 80 and 13th Street, police said. Omaha police pursue vehicle tied to homicide investigation
Around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, the vehicle was spotted in the area of Interstate 80 and 13th Street, police said. Omaha police said officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which fled.
Officers were able to stop the vehicle near 10th and Martha streets and a man was taken into custody as a person of interest.
Police said the man was okay after stopping the vehicle. Police told KETV just before 4 p.m. the individual was still in custody.
