Omaha Steaks expands retail, speeds delivery and leaves Foodservice

Omaha Steaks announced major changes aimed at faster growth and faster delivery.The company said in an announcement on Wednesday that it planned to open more than a dozen new retail stores in 2026 and expand its nationwide fulfillment center footprint. Omaha Steaks said the expansion supported its SEAR-iously Fast delivery service, including next-day delivery to more than 85% of the country and the planned convenience of same-day delivery in select markets.“As we grow our store network and expand our fulfillment capabilities, we’re creating a faster, more convenient way for customers to access our premium proteins,” said Nate Rempe, President & CEO of Omaha Steaks. The company said the F Street facility would operate a multi-shift, 24/7 production model and has benefited from capital investments in capacity, technology and infrastructure.The company also said it would exit its Foodservice business to focus on retail, ecommerce, subscription and corporate gifting channels.
