Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium deemed No. 1 Zoo in the Nation

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium has once again been named the No. 1 Zoo in the Nation in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.This is the fourth year in a row that the zoo has won that title.The Henry Doorly was also name the Best Zoo Membership, which is the second consecutive win for the zoo in this category.For the seventh year in a row, it won Best Zoo Exhibit for the Desert Dome.The Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park also won Best Safari Park for the sixth consecutive year.“These honors belong to our entire community,” said Luis Padilla, president and CEO of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, and the Lee G.
