A western Iowa man is dead after a snowmobile crash in Shelby County. The crash happened early Sunday along Highway 191, about 15 minutes west of Harlan. Deputies found Scott Gau, 64, trapped with his snowmobile in a creek. Gau was pulled from the icy water and pronounced dead.
