A 36-year-old man died and two people were injured after a Sarpy County crash Thursday evening.Sarpy County officials said law enforcement responded to the area of Highway 6 and 234th Street around 7:30 p.m. Investigators said a Ford Explorer, driven by Caleb Durbin, was eastbound on Highway 6, when it crossed the center line and hit a westbound Ford F-250, driven by 46-year-old Robert Hill Jr.Deputies said Durbin was declared dead at the scene. Officials said Hill and his juvenile son, who was in the backseat of the F-250, were taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Law enforcement closed the area for more than five hours while they investigated. Traffic was reopened by 12:45 a.m. Friday.
