A 20-year-old man died inside the Lincoln sewer system.According to Lincoln police, first responders were called to the area of 65th Street and Logan Avenue for a man who had fallen inside the sewer system and hit his head.Officers were able to find the victim along with two other men, “several hundred of yards within the sewer system.”The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.According to LPD, the preliminary investigation found the three men were in the sewer system, and when he tried to climb out, he fell off the ladder and hit his head.The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.The investigation is ongoing.
