President Trump to present Medal of Freedom to Team USA men’s hockey goalie Connor Hellebuyck
President Donald Trump announced that he’ll award the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, to Connor Hellebuyck, Olympic gold medalist of the Team USA men’s hockey team.Hellebuyck, a player for the NHL’s Wininpeg Jets, was present for Trump’s address after he played a key role in the first American men’s hockey gold medal victory since 1980.“I will soon be presenting Connor with our highest civilian honor … the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
