A new space in downtown Omaha is designed to do more than host performances — it’s built to bring people together.The Tenaska Center for Arts and Engagement is the latest addition to the Omaha Performing Arts campus, expanding opportunities for classes, rehearsals, and community events.Leaders said the goal is to create a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can not only experience the arts, but actively take part in them.”We found at Omaha Performing Arts that we were out of space for the classes and camps that we wanted to offer the community. We had artists here and no place for the students to have those experiences.
