The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that left one juvenile hurt Monday night. It happened near 186th and Summit Drive, near Aspen Creek Middle and Aspen Creek Elementary Schools. Deputies say a juvenile driver hit a girl on a bicycle. Medics took the victim to Children’s Nebraska with critical injuries. Deputies say she is stable and expected to survive. The age and names of the juveniles involved have not been released yet. A spokesperson for Gretna Public Schools said they have not confirmed if the person involved was a student or not at this time. The sheriff’s office says it believes the bicyclist was was in a crosswalk, but the crash is still under investigation.
