INVESTIGATION. THE NEBRASKA STATE PATROL HELPS INVESTIGATE A HOMICIDE OVERNIGHT IN SEWARD. THE SHERIFF SAYS THEY GOT A CALL AROUND FROM 911 AROUND 1145. THAT WAS FOR A DISTURBANCE AT A RESIDENCE IN THE 600 BLOCK OF NORTH SECOND STREET. OFFICERS SAY THEY SAW 54 YEAR OLD CASEY KENT WITH WHAT APPEARED TO BE A SELF-INFLICTED INFLICTED GUNSHOT WOUND. THEY FOUND A WOMAN, THOUGH 36 YEAR OLD JAMIE HAGEN, DEAD WITH MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS. KENT WAS TAKEN TO UMC WITH LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. THE PATROL SAYS HAGEN HAD A PROTECTION ORDER AGAINST KENT. AUTHORITIES BELIEVE THAT HE WENT INTO THE HOUSE, SHOT HER AND THEN HIMSELF. THEY SAY A CHILD WAS INSIDE THE HOUSE AND MADE THE INITIAL CALL
