Team USA’s Alex Hall won a silver medal in men’s freestyle skiing slopestyle at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics on Tuesday.The defending champion fell on the first rail of his final run, costing him a shot at gold.It was America’s first medal in a week-plus of snowboarding and freeskiing at Livigno Snow Park in events the country used to dominate.Norway’s Birk Ruud won gold, and New Zealand’s Luca Harrington took bronze.Counting Hall’s win last time, the Americans captured six of the first nine medals in the Olympic history of this event that made its debut 12 years ago at the Sochi Games.
