The investigation is ongoing. Well, high winds in Nebraska caused wildfires in Lancaster County. Firefighters say they battled 6 fires yesterday afternoon. Now most of those fires are contained. But crews worked into the night to battle smaller blazes. Here in Douglas County, *** burn ban is still in effect. Omaha Public schools confirm *** middle school worker has been arrested. In *** statement to parents, OPS says the case is not connected to McMillan Middle or OPS students. They would not confirm the employee’s name, but say that person is on administrative leave.
