It’s got to rein in ICE in very serious ways and end the violence.”On Monday, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem ordered body cameras to be issued to every DHS officer on the ground in Minneapolis and said the program will be expanded nationwide.Republicans are demanding their own priorities be added to the legislation, including requiring proof of citizenship before Americans register to vote. Other GOP lawmakers are pushing for restrictions on sanctuary cities that they say don’t do enough to crack down on illegal immigration.”If a deal means something that will effectively prevent ICE from doing its job, like completely changing the warrant requirements, like forcing ICE agents to be exposed so they can be doxed, I’m not going to support that,” said Sen.
