The case against a woman formerly accused in a fatal Omaha stabbing was dismissed, according to the Douglas County Attorney’s Office.Anita Hernandez was charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 46-year-old woman. The Douglas County Attorney’s Office told KETV that additional evidence came to light in the case, and it’s been determined Hernandez was justified in self-defense, and the charges were dropped.She was accused of stabbing a woman to death last year near 7th and Bancroft streets. Anita Hernandez was charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 46-year-old woman.
