PLEASE CALL CRIME STOPPERS. 402444. STOP. A CRASH REPORT PROVIDES NEW DETAILS AFTER A HIT AND RUN INJURES A STUDENT OUTSIDE FREMONT HIGH SCHOOL. THIS WAS DURING A STUDENT LED ANTI ICE PROTEST ON JANUARY 29TH. ACCORDING TO THE CRASH REPORT, THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED ON LINCOLN AVENUE OUTSIDE FREMONT HIGH SCHOOL WHEN THE DRIVER EXITED THE VEHICLE TO CONFRONT A PERSON WHO ATTEMPTED TO DAMAGE THE VEHICLE. THAT DRIVER THEN GOT BACK INTO THE CAR, STARTED TO DRIVE OFF, AND COLLIDED WITH A PEDESTRIAN PROTESTER. ACCORDING TO THE REPORT, THE DRIVER TOLD OFFICERS HE WAS, QUOTE, FEARFUL OF BEING HURT BY PROTESTERS AND THAT’S WHY HE LEFT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT.
