Douglas County early voting ballot applications will be mailed to voters in late July
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —
The Douglas County Election Commission will be mailing out early voting ballot applications in late July.
The applications will go to registered voters who signed up to be included on the Douglas County Early Voting Request List.

The postcards will be printed on green cardstock.
Voters will be required to provide ID information, sign the application, and return it to the election commission in order to receive a ballot by mail. Ballots will not be automatically sent to voters who receive the postcards or those who have requested mail-in ballots in the past.
“Using the card helps our office process applications for by-mail ballots more efficiently,” said Danielle Jensen, Douglas County Election Commissioner. “We appreciate voters using the card and returning it to a ballot drop box when possible.”
Those voters who don’t receive an early voting application can request a mail-in ballot by requesting one in writing with their signature.
