EXCUSE MY HANDWRITING, BUT THAT MONEY, IT’S ALL GOING BACK TO FARMERS OUT WEST. 100% OF IT IS GOING TO HELP THEM. THE CRAZIEST PART THAT WAS IN A 2.5 HOUR PERIOD. SO FROM 4:00 TO 630, WE HAD SIX PEOPLE MANNING THE TELEPHONES, TAKING YOUR CALLS TO HELP RAISE THAT MONEY. AGAIN, THIS IS ALL GOING TO THE DISASTER RELIEF FUND FOR FARMERS IN WESTERN NEBRASKA. AND THESE FIRES HAVE JUST BEEN DEVASTATING, BURNING OVER 800,000 ACRES OF LAND. BUT IT’S MORE THAN JUST LAND THAT’S BEEN LOST. TAKE A LISTEN TO THIS INTERVIEW FROM YESTERDAY’S TELETHON, DESCRIBING THE LEVEL OF IMPACT THEY’VE LOST THEIR GRAZING LANDS FOR THE SUMMER.
