Located in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border, Livigno is the quintessential European ski village. Words can’t describe it. Probably true, but we’ll try. Majestic views of the Alps, historic buildings, and *** cozy, confident vibe. We have just loved this little village. It’s so quaint. The people have been so helpful and so friendly. Located nearly 6000. Feet above sea level, the climate is very cold and wet, and snow is abundant. Now, even when they get an excessive amount of snowfall here in Lavino that postpones events, it doesn’t matter. There’s always something to do, and you can always play in the snow. Kids of all ages can enjoy it. We’re looking forward to the next few days getting to spend some more time kind of exploring and getting to know. *** little better. With nearly 100 restaurants in the village, there’s cuisine for everyone. The food, everything, the experience here is amazing. Absolutely, every time of the year. Now, even during the Olympics, the ski areas remain open, so amateurs and world-class athletes spend lots of time together. Over the moon to be here, it’s so neat. Italy’s cool.
