Investigators said a Tesla was eastbound on Cuming Street when a pedestrian, identified as Siles, crossed Cuming Street northbound near 43rd Street. The Tesla hit Siles in the center lane and fled the scene eastbound.

Siles was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he was declared dead.

His next hearing is scheduled for June 18.
