Massive fire in vacant golf course clubhouse erupts overnight
Battalion Chief Kurt Theiler a grass fire was upgraded to a building fire late Wednesday night.
OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha fire crews worked overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning to extinguish a building fire near 91st and Arbor Street. The building was vacant and an old golf course clubhouse, according to Battalion Chief Kurt Theiler.
Omaha Police were the first to arrive on the scene after a call went out for a grass fire. After discovering the fire was in the vacant building, the call was upgraded.

Firefighters remain on the scene, actively addressing hot spots. Battalion Chief Theiler says he expects them to monitor for hours due to the gravity of the fire. Investigators will be on scene Wednesday morning as well to try and determine a cause of the fire.
