Dozens of people across the community gathered for a candlelight vigil to remember the woman killed in a recent murder-suicide.

OMAHA, Neb. —

Dozens of people across the Omaha community gathered for a candlelight vigil to remember the woman killed in a recent murder-suicide.

The vigil happened at 35th and Davenport in honor of 19-year-old Victoria Kreitler. It was the same area where she was found shot and killed, along with 26-year-old Lucas Nunez last week.

According to the Omaha Police Department, the homicide unit determined Nunez shot and killed his girlfriend before shooting himself.
