Omaha police confirm 10-year-old hurt in crash has died
OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police said the 10-year-old boy injured in a crash has died.
The incident happened on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 114th Street and West Center Road.

According to police, a Subaru Impreza was attempting to turn when it was hit by an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu. The impact of the crash ripped the Subaru in half.
A 10-year-old and a 5-year-old were taken to the hospital with CPR in progress. Omaha police said the 10-year-old has died from his injuries.
Two adults, including the driver of the Malibu, identified as 28-year-old Tanner Hunt, were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Hunt has since been released from the hospital and has been arrested for two counts of driving under the influence causing serious injury, refusing DUI test, driving under revocation and no proof of insurance.
The investigation is still ongoing.
