OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha police are investigating a shooting in the Florence neighborhood.

Officers were called to the area of 30th and Willit streets just after midnight Friday after a crash led to an altercation.

Police said two people were hurt. One had a gunshot wound, and the other was assaulted with fists.

Both were taken to the hospital, and emergency dispatch confirmed the shooting victim was in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
