Now, in the letter from the White House, some of these policies. Are addressed like agreeing to require immigration officers to wear body cameras. Now policy proposals that didn’t make it in include requiring officers to issue judicial warrants. At this point, DHS remains unfunded. Rural firefighters and volunteers work to contain the Nebraska wildfires, so the two smallest wildfires are at least 60%. 0% contained at this point. The second biggest wildfire, the cottonwood, is at around 40% contained, and the biggest in Morill is now 16% contained. Thousands have been affected across the state, and you can help out by going to the Nebraska Cattlemen’s or Salvation Army disaster relief funds. Money raised goes to farmers affected and helps feed firefighters on the front lines.
