19-year-old motorcyclist dies in crash involving a farming vehicle in Iowa
A 19-year-old Iowa man was killed in a crash on a county road.The incident happened on Wednesday around 7:30 p.m. on County Road M16 in Shelby County, Iowa.According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by Jacob Buman, 19, of Harlan, Iowa, and a 2010 Apache Sprayer, which is a type of farming vehicle, driven by Luke Applegate, 37, of Shelby, Iowa, were heading north on County Road M16.ISP said the farming vehicle started to turn left into a driveway, and the motorcycle struck it.The motorcycle came to rest in a ditch, and the farming vehicle stopped in the driveway.
