2026 primary election results: Voters deciding nominees for Iowa’s congressional districts
OMAHA, Neb. —
Iowa voters selected nominees for three of the state’s four congressional districts in Tuesday’s primary election.

Voters selected Democratic and Republican nominees in District 1. Christina Bohannan defeated Travis Terrell in the Democratic race, while Mariannette Miller-Meeks won the Republican nomination.
Lindsay James defeated Kathy Dolter and Clint Twedt-Ball for the Democratic nomination in District 2. Joe Mitchell defeated Charlie McClintock for the Republican nomination.
In District 4, voters will be deciding the Democratic nomination between Dave Dawson, Stephanie Steiner, and Ashley Wolftornabane. The winner will face Chris McGowan, who is running unopposed in the Republican race, in November’s general election.
In District 3, Republican incumbent Zach Nunn and Democrat Sarah Garriott are each running unopposed in the primary election.
