POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa —

A 22-year-old Minden resident died Monday afternoon in Pottawattamie County.

The crash happened near mile marker 16 on Interstate 880 around 4:30 p.m.

Iowa State Patrol said Aaron Charles Roloff was driving eastbound when his Subaru Legacy left the roadway, crossed the median, and hit a bridge railing on the westbound side.

The car became airborne, struck the creek bank, and came to rest upside down in Mosquito Creek.

Roloff died at the scene.
