Nebraska companies compete to boost blood donations during Corporate Games
OMAHA, Neb. —
The Nebraska Community Blood Bank and Nebraska Sports Council kicked off the 2026 Corporate Games.
The games host people from 70 companies from Lincoln and Omaha.

“In Nebraska, we need about a thousand units of blood per week. And right now in Nebraska, we only see about 400 to 450 units come through our donor centers and our blood drives every week. So there’s quite a gap between 400 and 1,000, so we’re always looking to increase that number and educate the community,” Rachel Scott, business development manager, said.
The companies involved can earn points by hosting workplace blood drives or encouraging employees to donate.
Donors can visit any Nebraska Community Blood Bank and earn company credit.
The competition runs through Oct. 2.
