Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially married Friday evening. And it was Adam Sandler who, surprisingly, officiated the ceremony.

The wedding between the superstar singer and the football player took place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. While details are sparse, one that did emerge was Sandler’s role.
“Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” Tree Paine, Swift’s publicist, said in a statement.
Swift is reportedly a longtime fan of the actor and comedian. Plus, Kelce appeared in Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore 2” in 2025, where the two struck up a friendship.
Other high-profile attendees included singer Camila Cabello, actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, and model Karlie Kloss. Running back Kareem Hunt was among Kelce’s Chiefs teammates in attendance. Seattle Seahawks receiver and recent Super Bowl champ Cooper Kupp, New York Giants receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, NFL announcer Joe Buck and Jenny Han, author of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” series, also entered the arena.
