Alleged gang member sentenced to prison in Omaha illegal firearms case
OMAHA, Neb. —
An alleged gang member accused of careless driving and having multiple firearms received time behind bars.
Kapaw Htoo was sentenced to 60 days for two felonies in the incident.

Htoo was stopped by Douglas County deputies in January and showed signs of impairment and open containers were seen in plain sight, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The search resulted in the seizure of multiple open alcohol containers, a Springfield .40-caliber handgun, a Walther 9mm handgun that was reported stolen in Omaha, a modified AR-15 style pistol with the serial numbers removed, a Glock 80% polymer-style “ghost gun” with a fully automatic switch and no serial numbers, a spent .40-caliber shell casing and black ski masks and gloves, investigators said.
