Big Red Expert Damon Benning discusses how offensive line coach Geep Wade is fitting in with the players, staff

LINCOLN, Neb. —

Nebraska’s new offensive line coach Geep Wade got a head start with his unit in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Husker Radio Network’s Damon Benning told KETV, Wade’s fit with players and staff is only getting better.

“I wondered about the chemistry and camaraderie, and all he’s done is exceed my expectations. He is lockstep with Coach Teasley, which I think is paramount. They still are the lead horses in terms of their work ethic. Their pre-practice is like most people’s practice. I’m here talking 35, 40 minutes ahead of schedule in terms of when everybody else is out there, and they’re tight,” Benning said.
