LOUISVILLE, Neb. —

UPDATE:
Omaha Public Power District has restored power to all the customers impacted around 11:50 p.m. Friday night.

Omaha Public Power District officials said a bird was behind Friday night’s power outage.

According to OPPD, 1,472 customers in Louisville, Nebraska, lost power around 7:20 p.m.

After some troubleshooting, crews found the outage was caused by bird damage to substation equipment.
